Roxanne is in training (hard!) for the London Marathon in April and is aiming to raise

£1,800 on behalf of the Federation of Disability Sport England and Disability Sport Event charities. Together they do a fantastic job in organising National Championships for disabled people in a variety of sports. These events provide pathways to international success, such as the Paralympics. Working with corporate and trust partners, they aim to increase participation and talent identification.

Working closely with some of the sportsmen and women at WAMSDAD, a local Sports Association for the disabled based in Winsdor, Maidenhead and district we at In Touch see how much sport means to many individuals and for those challenged with disabilities it can offer them a sense of purpose when faced with such adversity.
